1 Garmin Fenix 7: for most sports enthusiasts

It is undoubtedly one of the most complete sports watches. It is robust and has excellent autonomy that can be easily varied with the Power mode that pauses non-important functions. New to this watch, it shows the person’s “endurance” in real time, ie an assessment of the energy reserve for running and cycling. A reference.

It hides its game well, but under a rather austere environment, this watch from the Finnish manufacturer Suunto is devilishly effective. Ultra-thin, it has the advantage of being able to be worn every day without being too noticeable on your wrist. It also has many different sports modes and advanced connected features. A real alternative to Garmin.

In addition, since last November, the watch is compatible with the Apple Fitness+ subscription, which gives access to thousands of courses specially created by Apple. Exercises and premium coaches to follow on your smartphone or tablet, and perfectly complemented by the watch’s sensors.

5 Wahoo Elemnt Rival: promising start, but…

This sports watch is the first model of the Wahoo Fitness brand, which is well-known among cyclists. Admittedly, it’s not the most discreet watch we’ve tested, but it has the advantage of being rugged. She is focused on triathlon and gets a little lost in her three favorite sports. It is also quite limited for daily activity monitoring. In short, we are a little bit hungry.

6 Polar Pacer Pro: a watch to progress in the race

This running watch surprises with its finesse and lightness (41 grams!). Most importantly, it includes advanced training tools that help already experienced runners improve, whether they love the track, the road, or even the trail. We especially like the new type of training called “running power”. Very effective for passing a sporting milestone.
