A sports hall opens its doors, Leroux cheese dairy moves… The latest commercial news in Migennes

Basic fitness gym. This new sports hall, opened on March 31, is located on the Place du 19 mars 1962, on the site of the former Dia. The 800 m2 complex is equipped with Matrix and TechnoGym machines. It is divided into seven specific areas, dedicated to the practice of a specific sport: cycling, cardio, bodybuilding, stretching, functional, free and light weights, and the social corner … “We have a section where you can do your bodybuilding exercises free and another dedicated to beginners with machines that can accompany the movements. There are also sheets with details about the movements attached to them,” explains one of the three employees of the room.

To access the property, you must have an annual subscription. However, people who want to can “pay nine euros more each month to cancel their subscription at any time.” The subscription gives access to all halls of the brand. In addition, you must be provided with a towel and clean shoes.

With this new opening, the fitness brand continues to grow with more than 500 open clubs, 1 million members and more than 2,000 employees. In Migennes, the gym, which already has 500 members, is the first Basic-Fit in France to set up shop in a city of less than 6,000 inhabitants.

ZM style. This name will sound familiar to some ears. Founded in 2018, this online site specializes in ready-to-wear for women. Ulker Bagceci at the head has decided to open his own boutique at 40, rue Victor-Hugo. “We opened on March 27. I wanted to set up a store because we started getting a lot of orders and it became unmanageable. I used to organize showrooms in the industrial zone, but there were too many appointments. You.”
In addition to ready-to-wear for women, the store also offers accessories, such as “jewelry, bags” and a children’s collection. “We also offer loose clothing in a ‘fashion modern’ style, which can suit a veiled woman.”

Cheese factory Leroux. The warehouse of cheese maker Pascal Leroux, formerly located in Brion, will move to 4, rue Paul-Nicolas, in June. “It will save us a lot of space as we go from 180 to 850 m2.” Here too, the choice for a professional stems from a growing demand. “We currently have a lot of orders for soumaintrains. Only the refrigerators are already full and we cannot expand our current warehouse.” As a reminder, the Leroux cheese factory has been located at 13, Avenue Roger-Salengro, since it left the pop-up store on 11 February.

Pop up shop. Technology took over from cheese with the arrival of Sébastien Guelen, at 9, rue Roger-Salengro. The latter has a CFI Services workshop there. This company specializes in digital printing, small and large format. It is aimed at companies, associations, communities and individuals. “I do laser engraving and 3D printing initiations. You can learn, watch and make. I also repair all kinds of objects and computer parts.” At the same time, Sébastien Guelen manages the coworking space next to the pop-up store. “The workshop will move there in May. We will have more space so that we can accommodate even more people for initiations.”
