At 55, Halle Berry still lives at 100 an hour. To maintain a healthy lifestyle, she relies on sports, diet and meditation.
On screen and in life, Halle Berry is a fighter. Wearing multiple hats, actress, producer, mother, the former model also manages to take off to take care of her. In an interview given to the magazine last November Women’s Health she discusses exercise routine, nutrition and mental health and gives the keys to unlocking her strength at any age.

Conditioning sessions at 7:45 am, fight prep, pull-ups and leg raises… To get into the ring bruised, her first film as a director, Halle Berry underwent an intensive training, worthy of a Navy Seal. His sports routine, a bit more lax in real life, is no less regular.
Exercise six times a week
Six times a week, the James Bond girl, accompanied by her longtime coach Peter Lee Thomas, combines lunges, squats, stair climbing and plyometric movements (exercises that combine dead jumps, stretching and muscle contraction) while carrying weights. Upside down, she also tries “reverse crunches” to work out her abs. “I had two children, she confides to the magazine” Women’s Health, so my skin is slacker at this level. I have to fill that area with muscle.”
Halle Berry does not follow a strict schedule. She evaluates her physical condition daily to determine which exercises are preferred daily, and might as well settle for stretching and yoga if she suffers from back pain, for example.

Good in his belly, good in his head
Halle Berry was diagnosed with diabetes at age 19 and follows a meat-based, low-carb diet. When she jumps out of bed, she opts for a so-called “Bulletproof” coffee, a buttery drink to which she adds almond milk, protein powder and collagen. The drink is very popular with adherents of the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting – which is the case with the actress. Therefore, after a lamb chop or a sirloin steak with vegetables at 2 p.m. and a salad at 6 p.m., the 50-year-old does not eat until the next morning.
I can’t be a good mother to my kids if I don’t feel good about myself.
Anyone who has known an alcoholic and abusive father knows how important it is to maintain his mental health, especially if he is a parent. “We always have to take care of ourselves because I can’t be a good mother to my children if I’m not really happy and if I’m not good about myself,” she said in the columns. Women’s Health† To do this, the woman behind the mask of cat lady only occasionally does she lie on the couch: she prefers a part of the garden where she retreats to meditate and listen to her higher consciousness.
Finally, the actress has also used acupuncture needles to regulate her “out of control” hormones as she approaches menopause. The exercise would have been of great help to him, especially during labour.
