Four clubs in the running for the Sport & Management Trophies

Since 2013, the Sport & Management Trophies have rewarded projects and actors in the field who innovate by putting sport at the service of social, educational, digital, economic or strategic achievements, or of a structuring personal professional project.

Of the eight categories that reward these commitments, the Sport & Management Trophies set out to create a new category dedicated to professional sports by awarding the “Professional Sport Actors” trophy.

Actors committed to their territory, especially dependent on foundations or endowments, have naturally requested professional football clubs to promote their program.

In selecting the many projects from all professional sports disciplines, the jury chose to select six finalists, including four professional football clubs:

Olympic Lyonnais (Olympique Lyonnais is committed to employment project): This project emphasizes Olympique Lyonnais’ will to promote integration through employment, be it among young people through their partnership with the Sport in the City association, or by organizing job fairs in the Groupama stadium.

OGC Nice (Childhood Project, a theme at the heart of OGC Nice’s civil policy): The OGC Nice Endowment Fund’s main projects are the support of children in difficulty and their families. These actions are materialized by the following three programs; “Wednesdays in Lenval”, “Children without Pain” and “Toi+Moi=OGC Nice”.

Stade Rennais FC (Move Programme!): Already awarded as part of the Phillipe Seguin trophies, the “Move! aims to raise awareness among the general public about the fight against a sedentary lifestyle and physical inactivity, in particular by promoting the practice of sports in Brittany support.

ASSE Green Heart (Territorial Education Program): Faced with the climate emergency, ASSE Cœur Vert is implementing a territorial education program to raise environmental awareness among school children.

The other two nominees in this category are the ASVEL Féminin LDLC (Empower Yourself Captain of your Life Program) and the Rugby Cœur Toulonnais Endowment Fund (Cité une femme project).

In addition, in the category “RSE / RSO Sport Actors”, theBerrichonne Football Association, a National 1 club, is named for its “HoNDI CAP’FOOT” action. The other five nominees for this Trophy are:

The award ceremony will take place on September 28, 2022.
