the Sports and businessa list of the hundred young leaders making sporting businesses in France has just crowned Gary Anssens, the founder of Alltricks, the French e-commerce giant specializing in cycling, running and outdoor pursuits.
After Tony Parker in 2020, president of Ldlc Asvel, Nicholas Julia founder of Sorare in 2021, it’s turn Gary Anssens to be inducted into this annual ranking that aims to “be an identification of talents among French entrepreneurs under 40, who play an important role in the sports economy in France,” the group reports.
A cycling accident that changes everything
The idea to start Alltricks came to the young boss after a serious bicycle accident.
Born in a garage in 2008, the e-commerce site was then initially dedicated to the world of cycling (MTB, Road bike, BMX, Fixies, Cyclosport, Cyclocross) and to the sale of spare parts, before opening, to that of running and outdoor sports.
