What is the protocol in the gym?
“On March 14, 2022, the vaccination pass will be lifted where it was applicable”, Jean Castex, the Prime Minister, announced on TF1’s 1pm news. The vaccination pass since Monday 14 March 2022 no longer necessary at the entrance of the sports halls. Wearing a mouth cap is no longer mandatory inside the sports halls.
Is wearing a mask mandatory when exercising?
Since March 14, 2022, the obligation to wear a mask has been lifted everywhere, logically in sports halls or clubs. It is also not mandatory at outdoor sports locations.
Is the vaccination pass mandatory for sports?
Since March 14, 2022, the vaccination pass is no longer required for persons aged 16 and older and the health pass for young people aged 12 to 15 years in closed places such as:
ERP PA: Establishment open to the public (stadium, tennis court, football field, outdoor pools, racecourses, etc.)
ERPX: Enclosed and covered sports facility, sports hall, omni sports hall, ice rink, carousel, indoor, conversion or mixed swimming pool, multipurpose sports hall of less than 1,200 m² or with a ceiling height of more than 6.50 m.

What is the protocol for sports at school?
Physical and sporting activities are allowed indoors and outdoors
According to the FAQ of the Ministry of National Education, since March 14, 2022, the health protocol has been moved to level 1 / green level for all schools and educational institutions in the national territory. In particular, this transition to level 1 includes:
- the end of the obligation to limit mixing between groups of students;
- the end of restrictions for practicing physical and sporting activities : physical and sporting activities are allowed indoors and outdoors
- measures regarding hand washing, ventilation and surface disinfection are maintained.
The sports facilities of the local authorities can be used for physical and sports activities during school time. From March 14, 2022, indoor contact sports and swimming pool activities may take place.
The use of changing rooms for PE is permitted, with due observance of the sanitary measures in force and with particular attention to the ventilation of the rooms. It is advisable, if possible, to give preference to the use of individual changing rooms
Where are the meters?
Since February 2, 2022 there are no more meters in establishments open to seated public (stadiums, concert halls, theaters, etc.) for practitioners and spectators.
Which rules for children?
Since March 14, the distribution of the health pass is no longer obligated in front of access to sports equipment, in front of practice in a club and in the competitions† It is not compulsory for sports practiced at school (EPS classes, gymnasiums, swimming pools, etc.) as schools are not subject to the presentation of the health card.
What rules at the pool?
Since June 9, 2021, the pools are open. They are accessible on presentation of a health card (until March 14) for people aged 12 and older. The collective changing rooms on the site are open and there is no maximum size limit.
