The Easter holidays starts this Saturday 9 April in Nantes! The perfect opportunity to get away and relax, alone or with the family. News Nantes has selected five ideas for activities from Monday 11 to Sunday 24 April.
The Natural History Museum
During the holidays, two activities are possible at the Museum: Express sciences and family games.
In front of express science, the team of mediators offers 15 minutes of scientific discoveries during the visit of the museum on various topics such as blob, taxidermy, geology, reptiles or foraminifera.
- Wednesday, April 13 at 11:30 am: Foraminifera, very small but essential
- Thursday 14 April at 11.30 am: De blob, a special cell
- Friday, April 15 at 11:30 am and Wednesday, April 20 at 11:30 am: Reptiles no longer exist?!
- Thursday, April 21 at 11:30 am: Geology, I don’t understand it!
- Friday April 22 at 11.30 am: Taxidermy of yesterday and today

For the second activity Family Games »the public can discover a selection of board games created by the museum’s facilitators.

Le Chronographe, 21 rue Saint-Lupien in Rezé, is organizing a chocolate treasure hunt during the festive season! Together with their parents, the children go in search of the code of a somewhat special chest.
From 7 years. April 10, 17 and 24 at 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm Free admission for children under 18, reduced price €1.50, full price €3. Duration: 1 hour. Make a reservation on 02 52 10 83 20 or register the same day within the available places.
There will also be the activity Here’s the currency† The children invent their treasure, inspired by the ancient treasure of Pannecé, found in two amphorae. Using ink pads and colours, they draw their own treasure during a creative workshop where their imagination is used.
Workshop 4-6 years. From April 13 to 15 and from April 21 to 22 at 10:30 am.
The activity ” counterfeiters” will enable young people to learn intaglio engraving on zinc plates in nearly 3 hours with Nantes Printing Museum.
From the invention of the pattern to the engraving on the zinc plate and the printing on a real press, all stages of printing can be discovered.
Workshop 8-14 years old. From April 13 to 15 and from April 21 to 22 from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm Prices: from € 2.50 to € 6. Duration: 40 min for the 4-6 year old workshop and 3 hours for the 8-14 year old workshop. Book on 02 52 10 83 20 or register the same day, within the limit of available places.

The Lisa-Bresner media library hosts the exclusive presentation (and debate after the screening) of the first three episodes of the series. flying witch by Katsushi Sakurabi.

From Tuesday 12 to Thursday 14 April, Handball’toi, organized by the HBC Nantes, brings together the club’s educators and municipal educators in four gymnasiums corresponding to the four sectors of sporting life in the city: Coubertin for the north, Camus for the west, PréGauchet for the south and Bottière Chesnaie for the east.
The day of April 14 will bring together all participants from the two previous days
for a major tournament in the presence of the club’s professional players, in the gymnasiums Jean Jahan 1 and 2.
