Toulouse gets angry, Auxerre continues, Paris FC stalls / Ligue 2 / J29 / Summary / SOFOOT.com

Beaten three days ago in Caen, Toulouse was relentless with Amiens (6-0) to regain – somewhat – his ease at the top of the standings in Ligue 2. Behind them, Paris FC sank on the lawn of a beautiful team from Nancy (yes!). Auxerre scored a fifth success, while Sochaux and Ajaccio had to settle for a draw in the race for Ligue 1. At the bottom of the rankings was the big operation for Grenoble.

Angry after the lesson they received in Caen on Saturday, the Toulouse players took revenge on a poor Amiens team that had asked for nothing. Or rather, the Picards put the Violets in orbit by presenting them with the first two goals: by having Healey finish on a shot in the area, by tackling a cross from Desler in the background directly. On a N’Goumou side, Healey then encountered Gurtner, before the young striker who trained at the club tripled the stakes at close range. On a ball taken back by Gurtner by hand, Van den Boomen goes for his weekly goal from the start to drive the point home. The chalice to the bottom for Amiens, who lost Lomotey, ruled out for a collision as Healey launched towards the target, synonymous with a second warning. The Englishman in the lead then gave Bangré even more relief to the success of the Pitchuns (6-0). A great operation for the Toulousains, who resume five points ahead of a Paris FC victim of Nancy’s rebirth. ASNL was condemned by everyone at the National at kick-off and relied on a double from Biron to get the best of borrowed residents of Ile-de-France. Add to that a pawn from El Aynaoui after a scramble on a corner and you get the big surprise of the evening (3-0), Thierry Laurey’s band never really gets into their game.

Five in a row for Auxerre

It is not Auxerre who will come and complain about it. AJA has been on fire for several weeks and recorded a fifth victory in a row in Nîmes (a first since 2009). Benrahou may react to the helmet shot from a decidedly unstoppable Gauthier Hein, Perrin offers the visitors success after knocking out Dias to score into the empty goal (1-2). Sakhi comes into play in the second half and is ruled out for a tackle from behind at the last moments. Still climbing, Sochaux lingers again after undergoing the act of his several direct competitors. Perfectly launched by a quick goal from Aldo Kalulu, left alone on an opening from Do Couto, the Lionceaux finally saw de Chamois pick up on penalty (1-1) just after the break. Disappointment also for Ajaccio, who couldn’t find the fault on the QRM field (0-0) and lost two points to Auxerre, third. A struggle from which Le Havre slipped, knocked on the lawn of Dijon (2-0). The fault of two individual fouls: a header against his side by the hapless Thiaré to the nearest post on a vicious corner and a foul by Fofana, who closes the first post badly for Traoré. The Hacmens, who also lose Lekal, ruled out in the final minutes, have won just twice in 2022 and are six points behind Sochaux.

Grenoble laughs, Dunkirk is crying

At the bottom of the table is the beautiful operation of the evening for Grenoble, winner on the narrow margin in Pau (0-1). The residents of Isérois can thank Mr Vernice for calling a non-obvious penalty in the first period, before persevering despite the elimination of Gaspar after the break. The GF38 exits the red zone and returns to the 17and square. Still in the southwest, Rodez is no longer moving forward. No win for the RAF this calendar year, even though the Aveyronnais grabbed at the very end of the game against Guingamp (1-1). However, the Bretons took advantage of a goal from Livolant after another offer from M’Changama. A match marked by the exclusion of Célestine, while Malanda appeared to be at fault on Merghem, was also sent to the locker room for two express yellows. With a penalty at the last second, Depres offers the Ruthénois a precious point. Dunkirk, for its part, is in trouble, victim of a dominant and efficient Bastia team thanks to Talal (1-0). In the end, Valenciennes took a point against Caen (1-1), with Ntim equalizing from a corner after Nuno Da Costa’s quick opener.
